Our 14-week externship places you in a professional recording environment where you’ll train alongside working engineers, producers, and artists. Choose from select partner studios, build real-world experience, and walk away with a portfolio—and the confidence—to take on the industry.

Pro Tools Certification

Gain official recognition as a certified Pro Tools user with this 2-week AVID-approved course, taught by Grammy-winning engineer Dawsøn. You'll master essential workflows, editing techniques, and session management skills that every serious engineer needs.

Virtual Consultaion

Get personalized mentorship from the comfort of your studio. Connect directly with an accredited engineer via FaceTime and high-quality screen/audio sharing between DAWs. Whether you're working on a mix, building your chain, or need career advice, you’ll get honest, expert feedback tailored to your goals.

Home Studio Kit

Every externship student receives a starter home studio kit designed to jumpstart their career from day one. The kit includes an audio interface, microphone, headphones, and essential cables—everything you need to start recording professionally at home. Gear is selected by real engineers and meant to grow with your skills.
